Flooring Contractor in Downers Grove, IL

Yes, in home or in the showroom, with a written estimate and no obligation. Material and labor are priced as separate line items so you can see what is actually driving the number, not one bundled price per square foot. Downers Grove homes get the same free consultation as anywhere else in the service area.

Yes, floor tile, shower and tub surrounds, and kitchen backsplashes are all part of the work done in Downers Grove, including waterproofing at wet areas, corner details, and sealed grout.

Luxury vinyl plank and tile, hardwood and engineered wood, carpet, ceramic and porcelain tile, and laminate are all on the showroom floor, along with semi custom cabinetry and countertops. Brands include COREtec, Shaw, Daltile, MSI Surfaces, and DreamWeaver, among others carried for tile and stone work specifically.

It depends more on subfloor condition than on product choice, so the number comes from your actual rooms rather than a per square foot rule of thumb. An older Downers Grove home with an uneven or previously patched floor needs leveling before anything floats over it, and that prep is priced separately. A free written estimate itemizes material, labor, and prep so nothing is buried in one bundled figure.

Solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished multiple times over its life. Engineered wood has a real wood surface over a stable plywood core, which handles moisture and temperature swings better and suits basements or installs over concrete. Both give an authentic wood look, and the right pick depends on the room and your longer term plans.

Yes, though the showroom itself is in Mokena, at 9614 Willow Lane. Downers Grove sits toward the outer edge of the service area, so most homeowners there start with the free in-home consultation, which brings carpet, hardwood, LVP, tile, cabinetry, and countertop samples to the house. The showroom is open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with weekends by appointment.
