Yes. The Floor 4U includes old backsplash demo and removal as part of most installation projects. Demo is quoted separately so you see the exact breakdown: typically $3 to $6 per square foot for tile removal, plus disposal. If the existing backsplash is peel-and-stick or easy to lift, demo cost may be minimal or zero, we assess on-site during the estimate visit.

Labor-only backsplash installation (you supply the tile) in the Mokena area runs approximately $12 to $18 per square foot for standard subway or porcelain tile, and $18 to $28 per square foot for natural stone or intricate mosaic patterns. The Floor 4U can supply and install, we stock subway tile, mosaic, porcelain, and natural stone backsplash options in our Mokena showroom, and we can order specialty tile to match your kitchen design. We also install tile you have already purchased from another source. Supply-and-install projects are typically priced as a single all-in quote; labor-only projects are priced on the labor alone.

We install all common backsplash tile types: ceramic subway tile, glass and ceramic mosaic (mesh-backed sheets), porcelain tile (standard and large-format), and natural stone (marble, travertine, slate, and limestone). Bathroom caulking around the vanity or tub is included as a finishing step on any bathroom tile job.

Yes. Grouting is always included in our backsplash installation pricing, we do not charge separately for grout labor or standard grout materials. Grout color selection is part of the estimate consultation. Specialty or premium grout products (epoxy grout, metallic grout) may carry a small materials surcharge, which we disclose in writing before ordering.

Yes. We seal all natural stone tile and porous grout joints after installation at no additional charge. Standard ceramic and porcelain tile grout is also sealed to protect against staining and moisture. The sealer requires 24 to 48 hours to cure, we provide care instructions before we leave.
